Pancake House, Inc. is a group of modern, dynamic, and perpetually progressing force in the casual dining industry in the Philippines. Pancake House Philippines is the first restaurant that offered pancakes and waffles as a delightful breakfast treat in a cozy restaurant with a backdrop of classic movie posters. Pancake House had since expanded to different specialty food and brands to appeal to varying palates and age groups in key locations across the Philippines and the international market.

Pancake House started in 1970 by entrepreneurs Milagros Basa, Leticia Zamora, and Carmen Zaragosa and was later incorporated as Sta. Rosa Food Services Corporation (SRFSC). It was later jointly co-owned by another formidable company, Extrovert Inc., which resulted to its expansion. Today, the Pancake House Group is composed of Dencio’s, Kabisera ni Dencio, Teriyaki Boy, Sizzlin’ Pepper Steak, Singkit, and Le Coeur de France which has a combined network of 174 outlets serving some 12.5 million meals annually.

Dencios was acquired by Pancake House Group in 2004 and acted as the pioneer in bar and grill restaurants serving Filipino favorites such as sisig, kare-kare and sinugba. Teriyaki Boy was borne out of an avid attraction to the rich culinary heritage of Japan which was launched in 2001. Singkit which in the 1990s followed the New York-style Chinese take-out and delivery outlet that focuses on Chinese menus such as lechon macau, chicken with quail eggs, and sweet and sour pork.

Sizzlin’ Pepper Steak was established in 2007 in partnership with Mr. Brian Tiu which specialized in Japanese steak restaurant other popular beef dishes. The Le Coeur de France which literally means “The Heart of France,” is boulangerie, restaurant, and cafe filled with Parisian charm. It specializes in French menu such as soups, pasta concoctions, gourmet sandwiches, and delectable pastries. Finally, the Kabisera which is derived from the Spanish “cabeza,” which means “head,” serves top-quality Filipino favorites.
