Sanford Marketing Corp. – Savemore

SM Food Retail Group is the food retail arm of SM Investments that operates over 100 branches across the Philippines. It first launched the SM Supermarket in 1985 at the Ayala Center, Makati. In 1998, it launched the SaveMore Market as a stand-alone independent neighborhood supermarket in collaboration with Sanford Marketing Corp. These Savemore stores are located outside an SM mall in either stand-alone outlets or as an anchor tenant of a commercial center/commercial building or non-SM mall. Meanwhile, another food retail format is the SM Hypermarket, which is located inside the SM mall. Today, SaveMore forms part of the large supermarket chain of SM Supermarket that offers world-class supermarket shopping experience that included a broad range of fresh products, sourced directly from the growers, processors, and integrators.

Offering the convenience of a first-class indoor wet market, groceries and general merchandise store, Savemore Market caters primarily to budget-constrained households by offering lower-priced items. Since its establishment, there are now 88 branches nationwide.

Aside from hosting an extensive array of food products, Savemore also provides innovative services that cater customer needs and wants as part of making its distinct way for food retail business. This included coconut grating for preparing gata dishes. It also provides Fish and Seafood Services which included cleaning and slicing seafood into fillet or preferred cut! It also has Fruit Slice, Cut, and Dice for fixing sumptuous dessert readily of freshest picks of fruits. Sanford Marketing – Savemore has a Prestige Card Members Lane for Prestige card members as well as a Senior Citizen Lane or checkout counters for the elderly.

Sanford Marketing – Savemore provides Complimentary Wheelchairs for elderly and disabled persons to conveniently shop inside the store. It offers Bills Payment counters, a one-stop-shop for bills payment for electricity, phone, internet, insurance, government mandated payments etc to add value to time. It also offers “Libreng Hatid” in which their friendly staffs accompany customers to the nearest FX, Jeepney, Tricycle and Taxi Terminal. Finally, its Customer Assistance is comprised of friendly, enthusiastic and helpful customer assistants ready to lend shoppers a hand.
